Rug Hooking I

What is rug hooking?  Some strips of wool, a simple tool, the ingenious creativity of men and women of years gone by using humble household items to make beautiful rugs.   Our sessions are one day clinics teaching you the basics of hooking, pattern transfers, and finishing techniques.

9 am ‘til 3 pm

Session Fees
$65.00  per person includes class instruction  and  lunch at Jack’s  Cafe
(sandwich and non-alcoholic beverage/tip not included.)

“Necessaries”
14” rug hooking hoop($26.98) or other frame, rug hook ( $7.98), rug hooking scissors ($13.98)  Your rug hooking kit of choice.  We strongly suggest the book “American Folk Art Rug Hooking” or The Secrets of Primitive Rug Hooking .
All supplies are available at “Just A Little Bit Country”.

Classes will be held at the Cameron House behind Jack's Cafe
